So I found  a challenge to be part of and also going to submit to a card layout challenge too!

So here is my creation… using a variety of things I have in my stash…

As you can see it is not perfect but I am still learning 🙂

Challenge :)

Following some blogs for some ideas etc and one is called Clean & Simple, they post sample card layout that are quite simple. Anyway I decided to join in the fun with one.

So here is the layout sample:

Quite a simple design but very effective… So I used my just made background paper (free in my last post) and cut out a cake shape from cardstock and then embossed some stamp on it and added some candles.

Welcome

Today I decided to start my own craft blog. Over the last few months I have got into making cards and some other crafts. In the process I have tried to keep things on the cheaper side and looked at a lot of freebies I could download and use. In the process I found I could make similar items for myself.
